Dogs love Ramsvik. The nature reserve offers wonderful walks, there is a beach where dogs can swim, and we have a special dog shower.
Pets are allowed in many of our cottages and caravans. There are some cottages where dogs are not permitted, and these are suitable for people with allergies. Let us know that you will bring a pet at the time of booking, and we’ll make sure you get the right cottage
Dogs must be on a leash within the holiday village, and toileted in the nature reserve. They are not allowed on the main beach.
The Beach Cottages with 3 beds is the best accommodation for anyone with mobility impairments. They consist of one room of 15 sq. m. with one single bed and one bunk bed, and a kitchen table with four chairs.
From the Beach Cottage a ramp leads down to the disabled toilet/shower, and you can drive your car right up to the cottage. There are ramps to the pier, the sandy beach, the shop, the reception and the restaurant.
To safeguard the pleasant atmosphere at Ramsvik, it is important to be both considerate and tolerant towards your neighbours. Keep noise levels down. Feel free to invite your neighbour for a cup of coffee on your veranda when you discover what a nice chap he is, but after midnight all should be quiet at Ramsvik.
Life vests can be borrowed free of charge. There are lifebuoys by the beaches.
There are 20 fire extinguishers spread out across the site – locate the one nearest to you.
Each Boathouse Cottage/caravan/Beach Cottage has a fire alarm and a powder extinguisher.
Feel free to use our three barbeque areas, bring your own charcoal. If you bring your own barbeque, this must not be used on the patio or between the cottages/caravans.
Disposable barbeques must be placed on gravel and disposed of in a special container next to the rubbish skip.
The Fire Service in Sotenäs trains our personnel in health and safety, first aid, and fire-fighting every year.
