Ramsvikslandet is one of the jewels of the Swedish west coast, with magnificent bays and rocky outcrops. An almost unbroken horizon lets the waves lap unhindered. The winds and salt means that nothing grows on the rocks, which are completely bare in many places.

The rock formations, the ocean, the skies and the birdlife offer unlimited opportunities to take beautiful nature photographs. Fykan is a common motive in nature photography books.
